Common Questions
What is personal boxing training with Scott Walker?
One-to-one sessions built entirely around your goals. Scott assesses where you are, what you want to achieve, and creates a tailored programme — whether that's boxing fitness, weight loss, competition preparation or general conditioning. Every session is different because every person is different.
Who is personal boxing training suitable for?
Anyone. Scott has worked with complete beginners who just want to get fit and serious amateurs preparing for competition. If you want faster progress than group classes can give you, or you want a programme designed specifically around you, personal training is the right option.
How much does personal boxing training cost?
Personal training with Scott is £35 per hour. Sessions take place at The Lodge, Manor Mill, Victoria Street, Chadderton, OL9 0DD. Scott also takes PT bookings during daytime hours Monday to Friday (09:00–15:00) in addition to evening class times.
What should I expect from my first personal training session?
Scott will start by understanding your current fitness level and what you want to get out of training. Expect a thorough boxing technique assessment, a conversation about your goals, and a genuine workout. You don't need any experience — just show up ready to work.
Can personal training help me prepare for an amateur boxing event?
Yes — and this is where Scott's background makes a real difference. He has prepared fighters for amateur bouts, white-collar events, and professional fights. He'll build a competition-specific training plan and work your technique, conditioning and tactics in the lead-up to your event.
